The Venue
Meneghetti sits in the quiet middle of Istria, where the vineyards run into olive groves and the light goes gold an hour before it does anywhere else. The estate is a Relais & Châteaux house built around its own winery and oil mill: stone residences scattered through the planting, a glass garden pavilion, cellars for tasting, pools set into the terraces, and a beach club on the coast for the day after. Weddings here are long lunches that become long dinners — a table down the middle of the pavilion, the estate's own wine, and nobody in a hurry.
